We felt very comfortable after leaving the Jarawa region. We were happy as if he had come out of jail. It was like some strong handcuffs. We didn't even try to take pictures of anything that came in the way and just saw a glimpse of Jarawa Tribals.

In Baratang, we had a chance to see the mud volcano, but I refused. In fact, 99% of the reviews I read about this place before coming here were negative. People told about this place and also gave a photo that this place has nothing but is a waste of time. After the tsunami, this volcano appeared here, and it remained well for some years but now some mud has spread on the flat land there, so I had decided that we would not go to see the Mud Volcano. Though we also asked the people there how to get there, then they told us that to go there, you have to take a jeep which will take 450 INR for the whole jeep. Here this money belongs to the vehicle and not to one person.

You have to go for about eight to nine kilometers after paying 450 INR, then you would see that Mud Volcano. It is worth mentioning here that what I read on the internet and later confirmed by the local people that instead of Baratang, Mud Volcano of Diglipur is worth seeing but, the Limestone caves of Baratang only are worth seeing. Only one cave in Baratang is open for visitors, which is worth visiting. There are 41 limestone caves in Diglipur, out of which hardly two or three can be visited and they are also very dangerous slippery, so whenever you make a program for here, leave Mud Volcano of Baratang and see the limestone cave here.

Now the bus we caught did not have a seat, even though our journey was about 70 kilometers. There was no place to get seats till the Uttara Jetty. Here we paid 145 INR for the Rangat bus in the morning, now we had to pay the fare again to go to Rangat. The fare from here to Rangat was Rs. 80 by the conductor. Shortly after getting down from Uttara Jetty, a passenger from behind got off, on which we made our elderly companion Rajesh Sehrawat ji seated. The journey to Rangat was very good.

We started talking to the conductor of Rangat's bus. Actually, there was a girl sitting near the first conductor and we were standing on the window. After getting down from Uttara Jetty, I do not know what happened to the girl that she left her seat and went behind leaving her seat. She had changed her seat from someone. I did nothing, and I was pretty sure about Jaat Devta that either he didn't do anything too. We did not even stare at her, but her attitude was a bit strange. But it benefited our cause due to her attitude we had an open talk with our conductor.

The conductor was originally Tamil and was a resident of this place since birth. He also told us about Andaman and talked a lot about his family too. When we talked to him about his job, he told that he gets around 16,000 salaries. His house was in Port Blair but he has just been transferred to Mayabundar depot, so he has now shifted to Mayabunder with his family. The government gave a house to live here, so they had given that house on rent.

Mostly here the duty is of eight hours. He also told us many important things and, like every Andamanese, left no stone unturned in praising his Andaman. Well, when our bus reached the bus stand of Rangat, it surprised me to see the bus stand here. The roads here might be small, but the bus stand was big and modern. Washrooms, LCDs, hundreds of chairs for seating, canteens on MRP, water coolers, and all facilities were here. We spent about ten minutes here.
