After ten days, I decided to talk one more time. First, I checked the Go Air site, and they were flying from Chennai to Port Blair but not from Delhi. Our flight was to fly from Delhi to Chennai,  waiting for half an hour than from Chennai to Port Blair. We could say it was direct.

The person I talked to told me after hanging on hold for a long time told that sir there is an option if you want? I asked, and he told that from Delhi to Mumbai, from Mumbai to Chennai, from Chennai via Port Blair, that means we can give you the same flight by making two stops. I was not in the mood to leave such a cheap ticket, so without listening to the rest, I said yes, do it like this.

The customer care guy got our tickets at the same PNR immediately and we started preparing for Andaman again. But I did a game in all of this. Actually, when I booked the ticket, I read nothing special about Andaman. When there was no thought of going, then there was no research. When tickets were booked, then because of my old usual habit I used to search about Andaman for some while. I made a list of places to see there. There are more beaches there and we can go there. According to this list and many other tour plans, people usually just go to Port Blair, Havelock, and then back. These are the people who go there to spend four or five days off. They have no shortage of money and they go by booking packages here.

Others are those people who spend a long time getting the right value of their money, then come and stay there for about eight or ten days in a manner. This allows them to see a lot of places. The third are those who are nomadic and who go to public places without any packages and feel the Andaman at their best. They spend fifteen to twenty days. I could have given so many days, but probably Jaat Devta or Rajesh ji might not be ready.

In these eight days, we had to leave many places, so I spoke to the customer care people once again, they told that you want to cancel or change the date of the ticket, in which cancellation charge of a single person is 1500 INR that is 4500 INR for three of us and combining the return total nine thousand INR. Even if it was all, it would have been fine, but after this, the second thing was that you cannot book the ticket at the rate in which you have made, rather you will have to pay the new rate i.e. 22000 INR per person.

I kept quiet. But when I was talking to the customer care person to continue my journey by taking two stops of the flight the one we booked, then I asked him that this time would you will keep the date same what we had booked or we can give a new date. On this, he said that I can see whichever date you want. This time I gave him the date for departing at June 19 and coming to June 30, then seeing that he told that tickets are available on both these dates. I asked for finalizing them and he did it. I did this minor game and thus our nine thousand rupees were saved.

I had also booked hotels at Port Blair from a website named Stayzilla, the day of our landing at Andaman on 16th June, and return on 24th June because we were sure to stop at Port Blair on both these days but when the flight was canceled, I canceled the Booking. When the new flight was booked, I again booked the AC room again in the same hotel on the same site. This time it was June 20 and June 29, that was, our departure and arrival. So this is how our program was made.
